FAQs
A woman ovulates in the middle of her menstrual cycle. For instance, if her menstrual cycle is regular (28 days), she is likely to ovulate 14 days prior to her next period.
The ovulation period is 12 to 24 hours long wherein the egg is released to be fertilised. If it doesn’t get fertilised, you get your period after 14 days in a normal menstrual cycle.
When an egg is released, it lasts or rather lives for only up to 24 hours after ovulation. So, if you are trying to conceive, these 24 hours are crucial for you.
