Yes, vaginal pimples are completely normal and common, and isn’t a cause for concern. Most of the time, they clear up on their own and it’s important that you don’t pop them as it may further lead to an infection in the area.
When you notice any bumps on your vagina, it is important to identify whether it’s a vaginal pimple or something more serious. If the bump looks unusual to you and doesn’t seem to go away after a while, you must contact your doctor.
Pimples in the private area of females are formed when dirt, sweat, and/or bacteria build up inside a pore, resulting in inflammation. This build-up of bacteria results in infection in the hair follicle, also known as folliculitis, which causes pimples.
